Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Daniel Pawlikowski!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borisov tries for a takedown but Pawlikowski circles away easily

and Pawlikowski counters by clinching up.

Pawlikowski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Let's hope that Pawlikowski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Borisov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pawlikowski is proving hard to escape from.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pawlikowski is on top in guard.

Pawlikowski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Borisov throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pawlikowski's head.

Borisov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pawlikowski regains half guard.
Borisov stalling away here and it's allowed Pawlikowski to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Borisov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pawlikowski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Borisov has Pawlikowski in his guard.

Borisov is trying to hold Pawlikowski in close to prevent damage but Pawlikowski has managed to pass into half guard.

Pawlikowski stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

and Pawlikowski counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Pawlikowski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Borisov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Borisov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pawlikowski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pawlikowski seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Pawlikowski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pawlikowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Borisov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Pawlikowski drops back looking for a leg! Borisov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Borisov manages to kick Pawlikowski off! Pawlikowski jumps back into Borisov's guard.

Well Pawlikowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
