Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Wylie (ranked 1343 p4p, 804 weight class) and Mounir Ayari (ranked 179 p4p, 109 weight class). Wylie comes into the arena with RATM- NO SHELTER blaring out of the sound system. Ayari has chosen Samira Said - Yallah Rouh as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mounir Ayari!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayari stuns Wylie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ayari comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ayari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ayari takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wylie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ayari misses with a wild combination.
Wylie throws a jab but it's blocked by Ayari.
Sam Wylie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wylie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ayari swivels and escapes.
Ayari let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Wylie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ayari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Wylie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ayari moves away.

Wylie is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ayari is keeping busy.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ayari creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A short body shot lands from Ayari as the two fighters clinch.
Ayari throws a punch but it's blocked by Wylie.

Wylie is looking to control Ayari's arms but Ayari gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wylie has his back to the cage.
Ayari digs a right hand underneath Wylie's ribcage. Wylie let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Wylie blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Ayari lands a shoulder strike.
Ayari blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Ayari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wylie moves out of range of the leg kick from Ayari.
Ayari swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ayari misses with an uppercut. Wylie saw that one coming.
A big left from Wylie misses.
Wylie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ayari tries to avoid it but Wylie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ayari to the ground. Ayari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ayari looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ayari punishes Wylie's body with a nice straight punch.
Ayari scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ayari takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Ayari slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wylie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ayari finds it's way round the side to connect with Wylie's head.
Ayari looks to throw the jab but Wylie is out of range.
Wylie doesn't manage to clinch there - Ayari circles away.
Ayari throws a good cross that connects.

Mounir Ayari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wylie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ayari.
Ayari moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ayari swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wylie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wylie tries to bum rush Ayari with a series of wild strikes but Ayari uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ayari's corner calls for a 1-2. Ayari obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wylie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ayari lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Wylie - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Ayari!

A relieved looking Mounir Ayari thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
