Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khamzat Chimaev (ranked 4307 p4p, 3734 weight class) and Dzsulio Horvath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvath tries to clinch up
and Chimaev counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Horvath moves in looking to clinch but Chimaev pushes him off.
Horvath is looking to clinch but Chimaev is avoiding it.
As Horvath tries to get set, Chimaev tries to push him back and clinch up but Horvath manages to avoid the attempt.
Chimaev has Horvath up against the cage in a clinch.
Chimaev is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Horvath is defending well.
Horvath misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Chimaev creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Horvath really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chimaev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chimaev wants to control but Horvath is keeping him busy.

Chimaev ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chimaev no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Chimaev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Horvath wants to get up but he can't break Chimaev's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chimaev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Horvath wants to stand back up but Chimaev manages to pass into side control.
Khamzat Chimaev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Chimaev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Horvath keeps working.
Chimaev takes a little break here. Horvath wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Chimaev tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chimaev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chimaev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Chimaev is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Horvath has escaped the position, nice work there.
Horvath pushes Chimaev away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chimaev gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
