Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marc Stone (ranked 4187 p4p, 5771 weight class) and Tyrone Cleo (ranked 429 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Marc Stone has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Cleo counters with a single leg into guard. Stone didn't expect that.
Cleo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Cleo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cleo is stalling in the full guard.
Stone wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cleo is now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cleo in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone is trying to maintain the position but Cleo is very close to passing his half guard.

Stone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cleo tries for a takedown but Stone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stone.

and Cleo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cleo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cleo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cleo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Cleo instigates a clinch.
Cleo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Marc Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Cleo.
Cleo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stone smiles and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cleo dives in for a single leg takedown but Stone sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Stone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cleo swivels and escapes.
