Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Keji (ranked 1009 p4p, 2197 weight class) and Ed Jones (ranked 112 p4p, 248 weight class). Abdul Keji has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Keji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Jones!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keji moves out of range of the strikes.
Keji doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Keji takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Keji connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Keji throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Keji misses with an uppercut
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keji takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Keji fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Keji is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Keji really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
