The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plutarque moves to clinch but Bean breaks away
and Bean counters with a series of strikes. Plutarque will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bean has hold of one of Plutarque's legs. Plutarque is fighting the takedown attempt but Bean gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Plutarque is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Plutarque is pushing Bean up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Plutarque is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bean is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Plutarque to the mat. Plutarque regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Plutarque jumps guard and drags Bean to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bean must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
