PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Showtime Sitsongrit (ranked 1091 p4p, 2645 weight class) and The Royal Savage (ranked 150 p4p, 318 weight class). Sitsongrit comes to the cage accompanied by ศึกษานารี - LABANOON. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Savage. Sitsongrit does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sitsongrit has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sitsongrit takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Savage is trying to stand.
Sitsongrit stalling.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sitsongrit wants to free his trapped foot but Savage is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Sitsongrit's corner calls for a 1-2. Sitsongrit obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Showtime Sitsongrit will probably get the nod.

Savage is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sitsongrit has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Savage is looking to defend but Sitsongrit has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Savage! Sitsongrit pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Savage taps out and this one is all over!
