Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Two Two (ranked 4295 p4p, 24993 weight class) and Reese Redscale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Two Two!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Reese Redscale!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redscale shoots in for a takedown but Two shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Redscale looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Two has closed the distance and engaged Redscale in a clinch.
Two is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Two jumps guard.

Two working for a triangle but Redscale defends it easily.
Two throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Redscale got a little sloppy there for a moment and Two has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Redscale has managed to get both his arms back between Two's legs - danger averted.
Redscale won't allow Two to sweep him here.

Redscale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Two swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Two wants to sweep here but Redscale controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Two has a takedown stuffed.
Two looks to land a left hand but Redscale moved out of range nicely.
Two looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Redscale is fending him off so far but Two persists. Nope, Redscale circles away and we're back to standing.

Two shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Redscale's guard.
Redscale wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Two manages to pass to side control.

Two is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Redscale defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Two trying to control from half guard but Redscale is working away.
Redscale has hold of Two's hands but Two slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Redscale is staying active underneath Two, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Two tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Redscale.

Redscale won't allow Two to pass to mount.

Two stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Redscale to get to his feet.
Two shoots in for a double leg but Redscale sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Redscale tries to counter with a clinch but Two shakes him off and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Two Two. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Two misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Redscale lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Two pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Two tries to clinch but Redscale moves out of range.

Two shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Redscale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Two. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Two in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Redscale keeping moving, preventing Two from controlling successfully.
Two is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Redscale is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Two Two dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Two shoots in but Redscale avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Redscale follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Two looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Redscale is fending him off so far but Two persists. Nope, Redscale circles away and we're back to standing.
Two is trying hard to land a takedown here. Redscale sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Two Two. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Two throws a lazy head kick
and Redscale counters with a three punch combo that has Two backing up. Two nods at Redscale to acknowledge the strikes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Two.
Redscale tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Two wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Two wants to stand but Redscale is controlling his arm.
Two trying to control the action but Redscale is working from the bottom.
Redscale is breathing heavily.

Two is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Redscale knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Two advances to full mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Two there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Two lands a big shot there that rocks Redscale but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Two tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Redscale is squirming around, avoiding Two's attempts to control the action.
Two cracks Redscale with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Redscale is rocked!

Two with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Redscale is still in real trouble! Can Two finish him?
Two throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Two lands a big shot to the head and Redscale winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
