The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berluscrawny pivots, looking for a leg kick but Leaf is out of range and Berluscrawny settles back down.
Berluscrawny lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Berluscrawny throws a sloppy head kick and Leaf moves out of range easily.

Leaf rushes Berluscrawny and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
I was talking to Leaf's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Leaf digs a right hand underneath Berluscrawny's ribcage. Berluscrawny let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Leaf gets through Berluscrawny's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Leaf prevents Berluscrawny from breaking the clinch.
Berluscrawny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Leaf pulls guard effortlessly.
Berluscrawny has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Leaf is proving hard to escape from.
