We've been hearing reports that Magomedov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Spence misses with a hook.
Magomedov drops down looking for a counter takedown but Spence sprawls and moves away.
Spence throws a right and a left that Magomedov avoids nicely.
Magomedov tries to counter with a takedown but Spence is quick to defend against it.
Magomedov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Magomedov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Spence.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Spence, as that shot connected.

Magomedov drops his hands momentarily and Spence takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Spence is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Magomedov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Magomedov moves forwards but Spence connects with a nice, crisp jab.
