PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judas Priest (ranked 2667 p4p, 3526 weight class) and Maksud Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 139 weight class). Priest comes to the cage accompanied by Jiří Procházka Battle Scream. Magomedov has chosen Lezginka - Kavkaz as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest lands with a hook. Magomedov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Priest moves into the clinch successfully.
Magomedov misses with a short punch on the inside.
Magomedov holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Priest tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Good body shot from Priest.
Priest misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Magomedov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Magomedov lands an uppercut.

Magomedov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Magomedov takes a swing at Priest's ribcage but misses.
Priest connects with a looping right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov misses the shot to the body.
Magomedov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Priest closes the distance and clinches.
Priest is pushing Magomedov up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Magomedov wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Magomedov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Priest backwards.
A head punch on the inside from Priest fails to land.

Magomedov breaks from the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Magomedov drops Priest with a left and a right! Oh, Priest is hurt - Magomedov dives into side control looking to finish!

Priest is rocked!

It looks like Judas Priest has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magomedov wants to stand but Priest is controlling his arm.
Oh Priest is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Priest is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Animal Fight Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Priest is trying to control Magomedov's posture but Magomedov avoids it.
Priest seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magomedov tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Priest tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Magomedov tries to stand but Priest is controlling his head.
Magomedov tries to stand but Priest controls the position and pulls Magomedov into his guard.

Priest pushes a forearm under Magomedov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Magomedov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
