Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Diamond (ranked 5285 p4p, 2839 weight class) and Dean Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Diamond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean Clarke!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diamond stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Clarke gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Diamond misses the body punch
and Clarke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Clarke throws a good cross that connects.
Diamond connects with a looping right hand.
Clarke throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Diamond counters with a right hand to the body.
Diamond jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diamond cracks Clarke with an open hand slap.
Diamond misses with a right hand
and Clarke counters with an outside leg kick.

Clarke is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Diamond.
Diamond scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Clarke misses with a looping left.
Diamond scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tyler Diamond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diamond scores with the left hand. Clarke knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A decent looking cross lands there for Clarke.
Clarke bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Diamond is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Diamond misses with a lunging right hand
and Clarke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Diamond throws a hook but Clarke blocks it.
Despite the aggression on Clarke's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Diamond on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Clarke misses with a left hand
and Diamond counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Clarke fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diamond.

Diamond throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Clarke to counter with a crisp jab.
Clarke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Dean Clarke has been cut.

Diamond is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clarke misses with an uppercut. Diamond saw that one coming.
Diamond was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Clarke fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diamond.
Diamond lands a nice hook to Clarke's body. Clarke takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Clarke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Diamond throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Clarke sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Diamond throws a hook but Clarke blocks it.
Diamond moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromClarke.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clarke is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Diamond throws out a loose jab but Clarke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Clarke appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Diamond is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Diamond throws a series of punches but Clarke avoids them all with ease.
Diamond throws a jab when Clarke was well out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Clarke! But no joy.
Diamond drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Clarke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Clarke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Diamond missing with a left hand there. Clarke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Clarke looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Diamond misses the jab.
Clarke lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dean Clarke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Oh Diamond is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clarke thuds his shin into the meat of Diamond's side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diamond drops his hands momentarily. Clarke doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Diamond staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Diamond doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dean Clarke!
