PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Sadaval (ranked 989 p4p, 1290 weight class) and Long Hung Dong (ranked 133 p4p, 166 weight class). Sadaval comes to the cage accompanied by Prohibido Olvidar. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Sadaval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Long Hung Dong!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Watson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dong lands a glancing blow to the side of Sadaval's head.
Dong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sadaval sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Dong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sadavals head.
Dong tries to throw a body punch but Sadaval avoids it by throwing Dong back against the cage.
Sadaval scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sadaval blocking some punches.
Dong tries to pull guard but Sadaval won't allow it.
Sadaval misses with a punch to the body.

Sadaval jumps into guard, dragging Dong to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sadaval is looking to stand up but Dong isn't so interested in that idea.
Dong wants to control from the top but Sadaval keeps moving.

Dong drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dong jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Long Hung Dong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've been hearing that Sadaval has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Horacio Sadaval decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
