With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Callum McCewen!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCewen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kalama.
McCewen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No joy there for Kalama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCewen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kalama fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCewen manages to avoid it.

A big left from McCewen misses.

Kalama closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by McCewen.
Kalama on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
McCewen blocking some punches.
McCewen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kalama lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt McCewen or not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kalama.
Kalama lands a hook to the side of the head.
McCewen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

McCewen tries to circle away but Kalama has him pinned against the cage.

It looks like Callum McCewen has been cut.
McCewen tries to move into range but Kalama moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kalama uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McCewen.
McCewen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Callum McCewen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCewen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kalama wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kalama cracks a nice hook into McCewen's ribs.
Kalama swings for the body but McCewen moves out of range.
McCewen appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
McCewen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kalama paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kalama is looking to wear down McCewen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

McCewen throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kalama takes a swing at McCewen's ribcage but misses.
McCewen drops his hands momentarily and Kalama takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McCewen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kalama seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kalama drops McCewen with a big left hand! McCewen is injured, injured bad! Kalama jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
