Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Sheppard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wade Kinsella!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinsella works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sheppard throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kinsella counters with a good low kick that Sheppard was not able to check.
Kinsella lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kinsella lands with an overhand left.
Sheppard has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Canadian Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Kinsella turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sheppard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kinsella counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Sheppard throws a body shot but no joy.
Kinsella delivers a nice body kick.
A big right from Sheppard misses.
Kinsella takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kinsella keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kinsella tries a quick counter leg kick but Sheppard is wise to it.
Kinsella thows a body kick. Sheppard tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kinsella has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sheppard scores with a one two! Kinsella had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kinsella is rocked!

Kinsella throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sheppard is looking for a counter combo.
Kinsella is still on wobbly legs! Can Sheppard finish him?
Kinsella throws a leg kick but Sheppard checks it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kinsella. Sheppard does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kinsella seems to have recovered his senses.
Kinsella lands with a shot to the body.
Kinsella doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kinsella connects with a solid leg kick.
Sheppard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kinsella.
Sheppard takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kinsella connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sheppard's hands.
Kinsella steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sheppard.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kinsella! But no joy.
Kinsella throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sheppard throws a combination that misses
and Kinsella counters with a nice leg kick.
Sheppard takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A jab from Kinsella misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sheppard misses with a shot to the body
and Kinsella counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kinsella thumps Sheppard with a low kick.
Sheppard on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kinsella has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Sheppard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sheppard scores with a jab to the head.
Kinsella throws a nice head kick!
Sheppard throws an overhand right that lands on Kinsella's shoulder, as Kinsella tries to avoid the shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sheppard, as that shot connected.
Kinsella lands a big head kick that sends Sheppard tumbling to the mat! Kinsella takes a step backwards and waves Sheppard back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sheppard is rocked!
Sheppard gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kinsella gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sheppard is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wade Kinsella!
An out of breath Wade Kinsella thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
