Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Apollo Rocky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Samson Komua!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komua fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rocky on the side of the head.
Rocky closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rocky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Komua uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Komua misses with a hook
and Rocky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rocky moves into the clinch successfully.
Rocky lands a hook that snaps the head of Komua backwards.
Rocky misses with a knee strike.
Rocky missing with knees to the body.
A body shot lands from Rocky.
Rocky scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Samson Komua has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Komua working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Komua.
Komua misses with a hook from the clinch.
Komua is trying to break the clinch but Rocky has him pressed against the cage.
Rocky throws a knee to the head but misses.
Rocky scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Komua takes a shot to the head.
Rocky will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Komua up against the cage.
Rocky lands a good knee to the midsection. Komua won't want to take too many of those.
Rocky is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Komua to keep the fight standing.
Rocky scores with a knee to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rocky creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Komua breaks the clinch.
Rocky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Komua lands a nice looking body shot.
Komua waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rocky.
Rocky ducks under a wild hook from Komua.
Rocky shoots in for a double leg but Komua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rocky getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Komua is rocked!
Komua circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Rocky. Komua falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Rocky!
