Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joanderson Ribeiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greggory Silalahi!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silalahi scores with the left hand. Ribeiro knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Joanderson Ribeiro has been cut.
Greggory Silalahi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silalahi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Silalahi throws a shot from downtown. Ribeiro moves away and avoids it.
Ribeiro takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ribeiro avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ribeiro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silalahi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Silalahi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ribeiro doesn't seem phased though.
Silalahi throws out a loose jab but Ribeiro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silalahi throws a shot to the body.

Silalahi throws a jab when Ribeiro was well out of range.
Silalahi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ribeiro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silalahi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Silalahi throws a hook but Ribeiro avoids it easily.
Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silalahi sprawls well. Silalahi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ribeiro gets slowly back to his feet.

Ribeiro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silalahi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ribeiro controlling from the top position.
Ribeiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silalahi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silalahi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ribeiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silalahi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Silalahi thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ribeiro wants to control from the top but Silalahi keeps moving.
Ribeiro missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Silalahi wants to stand and escape but Ribeiro is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Greggory Silalahi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ribeiro ducks under a wild hook from Silalahi.
Silalahi sizes up Ribeiro with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ribeiro is rocked!

Ribeiro tries to get into range but Silalahi steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Ribeiro! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Silalahi scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Greggory Silalahi!
After winning the bout, Greggory Silalahi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
