Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pop Corn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christie Cleek!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It seemed like Cleek was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Corn misses with a straight left.
Cleek looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Corn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cleek doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Cleek cracks a nice hook into Corn's ribs.
Corn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cleek counters by clinching up.
Cleek lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Cleek lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Pop Corn has been cut.
Cleek digs a right hand into Corn's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Corn's gas tank.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Cleek.
Corn swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Corn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cleek softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Corn tries to pull guard but Cleek holds him up against the cage and eventually Corn drops back down to his feet.
Corn fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cleek lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Corn backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cleek lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Corn backwards.
Corn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cleek smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pop Corn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cleek connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Corn is rocked!
BOOM! Cleek lands a beautiful left hook that drops Corn. Corn tries to recover but Cleek is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Corn lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christie Cleek!
Christie Cleek decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
