Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Solade (ranked 3578 p4p, 618 weight class) and Kirill Semenov (ranked 406 p4p, 81 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Solade.
Semenov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Semenov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

We've been hearing good reports from Solade's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Semenov lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Solade! Semenov sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Solade and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
