Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyril Mostakaev (ranked 2537 p4p, 24949 weight class) and Himothy Hendriks (ranked 210 p4p, 0 weight class). Himothy Hendriks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyril Mostakaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Himothy Hendriks!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendriks avoids the body shot from Mostakaev.
A big left from Mostakaev misses.
Hendriks swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mostakaev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendriks manages to avoid it.
Mostakaev forces Hendriks back against the cage and clinches.
Mostakaev tries to throw a body punch but Hendriks avoids it by throwing Mostakaev back against the cage.
Mostakaev gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hendriks regains guard.
Hendriks is looking for a triangle but Mostakaev pushes his legs off easily.
Mostakaev has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mostakaev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mostakaev forces his way into half guard.
Hendriks felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mostakaev moves into full mount! Hendriks won't be happy about that!
Hendriks flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Mostakaev sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Hendriks throwing hammer fists to the chest of Mostakaev. What's that going to do exactly?
Mostakaev tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hendriks is trying desperately to improve position.
Hendriks is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Mostakaev controlling from mount.
Mostakaev moves to the back.

Hendriks trying to control the hands but Mostakaev breaks the grip.
Mostakaev is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Mostakaev is cranking Hendriks's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hendriks! He's tightened the choke and Hendriks is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kyril Mostakaev!
In his post fight interview, Kyril Mostakaev started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
