Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shepard (ranked 4231 p4p, 25374 weight class) and Ducan Cosmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosmin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shepard.
A head kick misses from Cosmin.
Shepard feinted with a counter takedown.
Cosmin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shepard's waist but Shepard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cosmin off to one side.

Shepard scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cosmin is looking to regain half guard here but Shepard keeps moving and retains side control.
Shepard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Shepard's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Shepard is chipping away with strikes.
Cosmin is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Cosmin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shepard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shepard controls the position.
Cosmin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Shepard connects with a decent elbow.
Shepard is putting a hurting on Cosmin here, landing some big shots from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shepard lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cosmin down.

Shepard is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cosmin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Shepard scores with a couple of short elbows.
Cosmin is still in real trouble! Can Shepard finish him?

Shepard cracks Cosmin with a big right hand but Cosmin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Shepard in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Cosmin looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Shepard turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
