Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sweetriver Baines Iv!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Baines Iv counters with a nice uppercut.
Baines Iv dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baker darts in trying to clinch

Baker goes for a double leg but Baines Iv avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Baines Iv continues to drive forward.
Baines Iv was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Baines Iv's coach down at Dangerous Fight Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Baines Iv's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Baines Iv lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Baker backwards.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Baker misses with a takedown

and Baines Iv counters with a nice right hand that sends Baker toppling to the canvas! Baker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Baines Iv finish him?!

Baker is rocked!
Baines Iv paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Baker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baines Iv to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baker wants to clinch up but Baines Iv keeps it at a distance.
Baker seems to have got his legs back now.
Baker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Baines Iv manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Baines Iv counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Baker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baines Iv's waist but Baines Iv gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baker off to one side.
Baines Iv appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Baines Iv lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Baines Iv lunges at Baker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baker's hand.

Baines Iv jabs Baker right on the nose. Baker blinks but takes it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baines Iv cracks Baker with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Baines Iv has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Baker to stand back up!
Baker misses with a takedown attempt
and Baines Iv counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
