Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Archie Frewin (ranked 5719 p4p, 5276 weight class) and Kawainui Perry (ranked 517 p4p, 499 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Archie Frewin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kawainui Perry!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry misses with a two punch combination.
Perry defending well as Frewin loads up on a big left hand.
Perry throws a nice inside leg kick.
Perry waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Frewin.
Perry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Perry throws a body punch but Frewin moves out of range.
Perry lands a leg kick that knocks Frewin off balance momentarily.
Perry takes a swing at Frewin's ribcage but misses.
Perry lands with a good body shot.
Nice defenses there by Perry.
Frewin moves away from the strike by Perry.
Perry throws a head kick that half lands.
Frewin throws a right and a left that Perry avoids nicely.
Frewin misses with a straight right.
Frewin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Perry.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Perry, as that shot connected.
Frewin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Frewin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Perry throws a nice inside leg kick.
Frewin avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Frewin misses with a straight right.
Perry misses with a wild body shot.
Perry slips under a jab.
Frewin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Perry slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Perry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little feinted left hand from Frewin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That kick from Perry tenderised Frewin's leg. Frewin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Perry misses the jab.
Frewin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Perry clinches up with Frewin and pushes him back against the ropes.
A right handed body shot lands from Perry.
Perry lands a hook to the side of the head.
Perry lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Perry - that landed with a thud.
Perry works on Frewin's body with a couple of short punches.
Frewin is breathing heavily.

Perry scores with a hook to the body.
Perry lands with a short shot to the head.

A left hand lands to the body for Perry.
Perry lands an elbow inside that Frewin shrugs off.
Perry softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.

Perry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Perry plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Perry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Perry jabs at Frewin's body.
Perry lands with an overhand left.
Perry with the inside leg kick.
Kawainui Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frewin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Perry connects with a leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Frewin takes a swing at Perry's ribcage but misses.
Perry clobbers Frewin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Perry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Frewin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Perry is able to avoid easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kawainui Perry dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Perry closes the distance and clinches.
Archie Frewin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Still in the clinch, Perry scores with a nice short uppercut.
Perry keeps control of Frewin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Perry lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Frewin backwards.

Frewin is rocked!
Perry lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Oh Frewin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Perry digs a right hand underneath Frewin's ribcage. Frewin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Perry is holding Frewin round the back of the neck and unloading with elbows! Boom, boom, boom! 3 big elbows land right to the bridge of the nose and Frewin goes down! Oh, his nose is a mess! I'm not sure he's going to beat the count... 4,5,6,7,8,9,10. He's done! Perry takes it and Frewin is going to the hospital to get that nose checked out!
