And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Wladimir Klitschko!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson takes one on the button.
Johnson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Klitschko counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Klitschko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Klitschko slips the punch.

Wladimir Klitschko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Klitschko throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Johnson walks into a big right hand from Klitschko and goes down! The referee sends Klitschko to a neutral corner as Johnson gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Klitschko is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Klitschko moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
Klitschko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Klitschko cracks Johnson with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
