Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fighter counters with a stiff right hand.
Chavez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fighter throws a sloppy head kick
and Chavez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Chavez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fighter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fighter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chavez on the ground.

Fighter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chavez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chavez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Chavez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Chavez pushes down on Fighter's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chavez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Chavez gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Fighter shoots in but no luck this time.
Chavez is looking for the big counter here.
Chavez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter is fending him off so far but Chavez persists. Nope, Fighter circles away and we're back to standing.
Fighter appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Fighter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chavez circles away quickly and effectively.
Chavez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chavez sprawls well. Chavez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Fighter is breathing heavily.

Chavez closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fighter quickly recovers to half guard.

Fighter makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown. Chavez tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chavez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bum Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fighter is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chavez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Chavez wants to take the fight to the mat but Fighter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Chavez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fighter is defending well for now.

Chavez jumps guard and drags Fighter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chavez tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Chavez has his feet on Fighter's thighs here. He's pushed Fighter off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fighter screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
