The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mini swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A counter left hand to the body from Johnson misses its target.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.

Johnson moves into range and clinches up with Mini.
Johnson pushes Mini back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Mini tries to pull guard but Johnson holds him up against the cage and eventually Mini drops back down to his feet.

Johnson has Mini pressed against the cage, preventing Mini from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mini tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.

Mini is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Johnson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Johnson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Johnson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Johnson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mini with a big uppercut! Mini tries to clinch up but Johnson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mini to the mat! Mini covers up and Johnson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
