Alois Vrana told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vrana tries to clinch up.
Smith throwing a counter right hand but Vrana manages to avoid it.
Vrana closes the distance but Smith moves to the side
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vrana connects with a jab.

It looks like Rob Smith has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Smith has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vrana looks to land a body kick but Smith moved away.
Smith appears to be looking for a big counter.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Vrana.
A slapping body kick lands there for Vrana.
Vrana throws a lazy body kick
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Vrana misses with a left hand
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Vrana catches Smith with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Alois Vrana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vrana is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Vrana fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Smith counters with a left to the body.

and Smith moves into the clinch.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Vrana throws a poor cross that misses
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vrana moves to clinch but Smith breaks away
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Vrana throws a lazy body kick
and Smith counters with a nice uppercut.

Vrana is rocked!
Smith lands a brutal uppercut that launches Vrana off his feet! Vrana tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
