Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Pass (ranked 5491 p4p, 4354 weight class) and Coochie Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pass closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mann did well to prevent Pass getting side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pass stands up and beckons Mann to his feet.
Mann tries to clinch but Pass is having none of it.

Sloppy strikes from Mann. Those never looked like landing.
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pass swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pass tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mann defends well and Pass ends up having to push Mann into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mann fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pass checks it well.
Pass definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Pass throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mann's waist but Mann gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pass off to one side.

Coochie Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mann misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pass is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mann can do to turn this around?

Pass lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mann down.
Pass working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
