The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Okoye drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rishkinov dives on top into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Okoye keeping moving, preventing Rishkinov from controlling successfully.
Rishkinov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Okoye haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rishkinov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Okoye is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Okoye is not content to let Rishkinov control the position.
Okoye is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rishkinov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rishkinov's back!

A relieved looking Ikemba Okoye thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
