Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Melly Hartwick (ranked 24952 p4p, 4455 weight class) and King Cazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartwick tries to clinch but Cazi moves away

and Cazi counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Cazi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hartwick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cazi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hartwick's guard.
Cazi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Cazi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hartwick is just riding it out for now. Cazi eventually gives up the hold.

Cazi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hartwick does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cazi is pushing down on Hartwick's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hartwick is fighting to maintain full guard but Cazi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cazi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hartwick keeps working.
Cazi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cazi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hartwick is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hartwick has escaped and now he's on top!

Cazi is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hartwick throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cazi's body to avoid the submission. Cazi has instead reached around Hartwick's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cazi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
