Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann connects with a solid leg kick.
Mann misses with a low kick.
Guy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mann connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mann chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Mann thumps Guy with a low kick.
Mann lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Guy at a distance.
Mann lands a jab to the head.
Mann cracks Guy with an open hand slap.
Mann throws a leg kick that is checked

and Guy counters with a single leg into guard. Mann didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mann has Guy pulled in close to control his posture.
Mann scores with a nice shot.
Mann trying to keep a closed guard but Guy is proving a slippery customer.
Guy throws a big elbow that misses.

Mann seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mann trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Mann looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Guy passes into side control.

Mann misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Mann gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mann is controlling Guy's trapped leg to prevent Guy from advancing to side control.
Mann works his way to full guard. Good work.

Mann wants to hit a sweep here but Guy passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mann there!
Mann wants to control but Guy is having none of it.
Mann might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Guy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Guy has hold of Mann's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mann manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mann tries to hold on but Guy postures up.
Mann is looking to improve his position but Guy isn't that keen on the idea.
Mann flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Guy lands a nice shot to the head.

It looks like Heavy Mann has been cut.
Mann is working to get back to half guard.
Mann tries to hold on but Guy pushes him away.
Mann holds on to Guy as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Mann is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mann wants to hold on but Guy pushes him away.

Guy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mann's face.

The cut above Heavy Mann's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Heavy Mann's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
