Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muhammad Ali!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali looks to score with a jab to the body but Liston is just out of range.
Ali lunges at Liston with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Liston's hand.
Ali throws an off balance right hand
and Liston counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Muhammad Ali has been cut.
Ali scores with a nice right hand.
Ali swings away with a body shot that misses
and Liston counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ali ducks under a wild hook from Liston.
Liston throws out a loose jab but Ali uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liston takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Liston takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Liston throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Liston dodges the punch combination from Ali.
Ali misses with a double jab
and Liston counters with a stiff right hand.
Liston misses with an uppercut. Ali saw that one coming.
Nice body punch from Ali.
Ali moves out of range as Liston strikes.
Ali jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Liston misses with a lunging right hand
and Ali counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Liston off his feet! Liston crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Liston isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Ali screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Muhammad Ali!
An out of breath Muhammad Ali thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
