Breaker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Walters manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Breaker manages to get himself to full guard.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Walters is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Walters in particular looking to stall.

Walters seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Breaker for as long as he can get away with.

Breaker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Walters defends it easily.
Breaker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walters controls the pace.
Walters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Breaker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Walters's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Breaker is having to fend off submission attempts from Walters, who is looking to sink in the choke. Walters doesn't have the hooks in though and Breaker manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Walters looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Walters working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Breaker's thigh. Breaker counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Walters stands and throws Breaker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
