Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebec lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Chavez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chavez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lebec finds it's way round the side to connect with Chavez's head.
Lebec moves out of range of the body kick from Chavez.
Lebec uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chavez has time to react.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lebec wants to take the fight to the mat but Chavez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lebec drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chavez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chavez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lebec's waist but Lebec gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chavez off to one side.

Chavez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Chavez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lebec sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lebec keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Eddie Lebec has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cinta Chavez.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eddie Lebec seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lebec throws a hook to the side of Chavez's head but Chavez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lebec leaves Chavez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lebec scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chavez in his tracks.
Chavez avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lebec gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lebec had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chavez defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chavez in particular looking to stall.
Lebec gets full guard.

Lebec is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chavez defends well.

Lebec has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chavez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lebec has tightened it up now! Chavez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
