Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Drake Retso!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dagani lands with a straight right. Retso didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Drake Retso has been cut.
Dagani getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Retso looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Retso throws a strike but Dagani rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dagani stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Retso swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Retso throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Retso thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Dagani wants to control from the top but Retso keeps moving.

Dagani stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Retso swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Retso tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dagani moves out of range of the body kick from Retso.
Dagani throws a right hand that Retso ducks under and follows up with a left that Retso also avoids with ease.
Retso pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dagani displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Retso.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Retso misses with a jab, cross combination.
Retso misses with a wild body shot.
Retso misses with a body shot.
Dagani misses with a looping left.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Retso.
A combination from Retso does no damage.
Dagani throws a big shot that misses.

Retso scores a takedown into full mount!
Dagani tries to hold on but Retso pushes him away.
Retso thowing shots but they're missing.
Retso lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Retso prevents Dagani from getting the reversal.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Retso softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Dagani is out cold! Retso jumps to his feet and celebrates on the ropes with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
