The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sterling shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Pugsley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pugsley tries to get to full guard but Sterling has control of the leg.

Pugsley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sterling can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pugsley controls Sterling momentarily but Sterling frees himself.
Sterling wants to control from the top but Pugsley keeps moving.

Sterling got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pugsley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sterling has managed to get both his arms back between Pugsley's legs - danger averted.

Sterling quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pugsley has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sterling celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
