The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega stuffs the takedown attempt from Olyanek. Olyanek gets slowly back to his feet.
A jab from Ortega does it's job there.

Olyanek shoots in but no luck this time.

Ortega uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Olyanek has time to react.

Ortega scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ortega pushes Olyanek away with a front kick.
Ortega throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Olyanek stumbling backwards into the ropes! Olyanek bounces back off the ropes towards Ortega, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Ortega lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Ortega celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
