The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Juanito Santos has been cut.
Wade lands with a nice body kick.
Wade connects with a good right hand that stumbles Santos. Santos circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Santos blocks the body kick.
Santos wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A bone on bone clash there as Santos blocks the leg kick.
Wade tries a head kick but it misses.
Santos tries to clinch but Wade is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wade misses with a knee to the head.
Wade landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Santos drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wade pulls his leg out and moves away.
Santos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wade.

Wade throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Santos stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Wade follows into mount!

Santos is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wade content just to control the position here.
Oh Santos is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Santos seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
