Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Monty Milano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Fredricks!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredricks dodges the punch combination from Milano.
Fredricks throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Milano counter with a right hand.
Fredricks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fredricks lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Monty Milano has been cut.
Milano misses with a jab, cross combination.
Milano getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fredricks slips a straight right by Milano.
Fredricks throws a nice looking combination but Milano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Milano cracks Fredricks with an uppercut from hell and Fredricks crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Milano's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Milano seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Milano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Fredricks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Fredricks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Milano looks to land a left hand but Fredricks moved out of range nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Fredricks. That snapped Milano's head back.

A little jabbing left from Fredricks on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Milano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Milano lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Milano closes the distance and pushes Fredricks back into the cage.
Fredricks doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Milano pushes Fredricks back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Milano.
Fredricks misses with a punch on the inside.
Fredricks's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Fredricks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Milano cracks Fredricks with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fredricks misses the shot to the body.

Milano instigates a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Milano lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fredricks backwards.
Milano misses with some punches.
Fredricks wants to get back to striking at distance but Milano won't allow it.
Fredricks is trying to break the clinch but Milano is controlling him.
Fredricks blocks an uppercut.
Milano lands with a light punch inside.
Fredricks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Milano has him pressed against the cage.

Milano manages to break the clinch.

Milano drops his shoulder and cracks Fredricks with a huge uppercut! Fredricks goes down! Can Milano finish him?

Fredricks is rocked!

It looks like Kent Fredricks has been cut.
Milano seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Milano slips nicely into half guard.
Fredricks seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fredricks is trying to control but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Milano with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Monty Milano dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Milano throws a body shot but no joy.
Fredricks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Milano sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fredricks throws a hook to the side of Milano's head but Milano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fredricks. Milano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Milano lands with a right that hurts Fredricks. Fredricks looks to clinch but Milano throws a short knee that drops Fredricks. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Monty Milano!
Monty Milano gave a mention to Bondi MMA 🏝️ in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
