Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maulen Adilev (ranked 2736 p4p, 3381 weight class) and Red Cloud (ranked 344 p4p, 401 weight class). Cloud has chosen Barefoot Ghost Dance on Blood Soaked Soil as his entrance music. Red Cloud will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maulen Adilev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Red Cloud!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adilev dives in and grabs Cloud's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cloud pushes down on Adilev's head and hops out.
Cloud connects with a good right hand that stumbles Adilev. Adilev circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Adilev dives in and scores a takedown into Cloud's guard.
Adilev drops back looking for a leg! Cloud is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cloud manages to kick Adilev off! Adilev jumps back into Cloud's guard.
Cloud is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Adilev is controlling him.
Adilev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cloud swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cloud wants to stand up but Adilev is controlling him.
Adilev trying to control but Cloud is working from the bottom.

Adilev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cloud scores with a jab to the body.
Cloud fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Adilev is out of range.
Cloud scores with a hook to the body. Adilev takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cloud digs a good body shot into Adilev's ribs.
Adilev shoots and misses
enabling Cloud to counter with a crisp jab.
Cloud lands an overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cloud slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Cloud keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maulen Adilev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adilev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cloud counters with a straight right hand.
Cloud throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Adilev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cloud swivels and escapes.

Adilev doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Adilev misses with a takedown attempt - Cloud sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Adilev is breathing heavily.
Adilev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cloud counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Adilev dives in for a single leg takedown but Cloud sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cloud lands a nice uppercut.
Adilev is rocked!
Cloud digs a right hand into Adilev's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Adilev's gas tank.
Oh Adilev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A short body shot lands from Cloud as the two fighters clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Cloud.
Cloud creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Adilev with a big uppercut! Adilev tries to clinch up but Cloud pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Adilev to the mat! Adilev covers up and Cloud unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Red Cloud!
Red Cloud very nearly forgot to thank Champion Apparel amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
