The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Panda somewhat.
Panda uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Panda is looking to clinch but Hayes is avoiding it.

Hayes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Panda napping and manages to drive through into side control!
