Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Mimms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Durden might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ANIT NO REST FOR THE WICKED. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mimms pushes Durden up against the cage in a clinch.
Durden manages to break the clinch.
Mimms fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Durden, pushing him back against the cage.
Durden wants to break free but Mimms has control.
Durden has had enough of the clinch but Mimms keeps him there for the moment.
Mimms working hard to break the clinch.
Mimms prevents Durden from breaking the clinch.
Mimms manages to pull guard.
Mimms is trying to control the position but Durden postures up.
Mimms has a closed guard, preventing Durden from standing up.

Durden stalks Mimms and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mimms's face. Mimms staggers backwards, shaken.
Mimms shoots in but no luck this time.
Tyler Durden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wes Mimms.
Durden moves out of range of the leg kick from Mimms.
Durden missing with a left hand there. Mimms was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mimms shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Durden's guard.

Mimms thows a big elbow that misses.
Mimms is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Durden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Durden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mimms gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durden tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mimms advances to half guard.
Mimms working Durden over with strikes.
Mimms lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Durden wants to improve his position but Mimms is controlling well.
Durden has hold of Mimms's hands but Mimms slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mimms is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ground and pound from Mimms.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mimms connects with a nice short shot to Durden's temple.
Mimms uses his free foot to push down on Durden's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Durden.
Mimms wants to finish this one by submission but Durden is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mimms.
BOOM! Mimms connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Durden takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The referee warns Durden that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Durden sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Mimms is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mimms thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Durden's head.
Durden manages to get to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mimms accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mimms postures up in Durden's guard and throws a big left but Durden blocks it.
Durden wants to sweep here but Mimms controlling him for the moment.

Mimms keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Durden's head.

Mimms shoots in but Durden avoids the takedown attempt easily.
