Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Chelios keeps the fight on the outside.
Chelios looks to land a combination but whittiker avoids it well.
Chelios darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Jordan whittiker has been cut.
Chelios throws a right and a left that whittiker avoids nicely.
Chelios avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chelios throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chelios drops whittiker with a left right combo! Chelios follows him down to the ground into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chelios wants to stand but whittiker has his arm trapped.
Chelios trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Chelios has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Chelios takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

whittiker shoots in looking for a takedown. Chelios tries to sprawl out of it but whittiker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chelios manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

whittiker digs a good body shot into Chelios's ribs.
Jordan whittiker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chelios is breathing heavily.

You get the feeling that Chelios really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Chelios tries to buck whittiker off but he can't manage it.
whittiker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chelios has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Chelios's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

whittiker is working for a rear naked choke. Chelios is not defending it well and whittiker has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Chelios refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Chelios's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
