This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 41 losses; Arm Breaker! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 43 losses; Pavel Savkov!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Savkov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Breaker defends it nicely.
Breaker wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Arm Breaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savkov darts in and clinches Breaker up against the cage.
Savkov's coach down at Rivers Edge Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Savkov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Breaker goes for a takedown attempt but Savkov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Savkov rushes Breaker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
