Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dill Nickle (ranked 800 p4p, 1162 weight class) and Aleksandar Ivkov (ranked 72 p4p, 111 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dill Nickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksandar Ivkov!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivkov throws a combination that misses

Nickle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nickle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nickle goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ivkov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nickle but great work by Ivkov.
Ivkov wants to control but Nickle is keeping him busy.

Nickle tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ivkov is looking to take a break and control but Nickle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nickle is keen to just control but Ivkov is a slippery customer.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Nickle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Nickle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ivkov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nickle appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Ivkov throws a series of strikes that have Nickle backpedaling.

It looks like Dill Nickle has been cut.
Nickle has a takedown stuffed.
Ivkov throws a nice looking combination but Nickle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ivkov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Aleksandar Ivkov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nickle is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ivkov is trying to escape and Nickle transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ivkov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nickle! Very nice indeed!
