Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Adams (ranked 24054 p4p, 2141 weight class) and Benjy Button (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Button rushes Adams and presses him up against the cage.
Button lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Adams or not.
Button gets underhooks to prevent Adams's takedown attempt.
A shot in the inside from Button.

Button wants the takedown. Adams is fighting it off but Button persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Adams's guard against the cage.

Button thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Adams working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Button.
Button missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Adams preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Button has gone for a leg lock! Adams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Button's guard.

Adams throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Button wants to stand up but Adams is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Button will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Adams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Button shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Button showed some decent athleticism there.
Adams is refusing to be controlled, as Button sits in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Button tries to stand and escape but Adams is controlling the position.
Button thows a huge punch but Adams dodges it nicely.
Button is trying to control. Adams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Button is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Button throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Adams is breathing heavily.
Adams is refusing to be controlled, as Button sits in half guard.

Button maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Adams could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Button has cracked it and Adams is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Button!
