The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Kaiser.
No joy there for Kaiser, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Island wants to counter with a clinch but Kaiser pushes him away.
Kaiser lands a nice leg kick that just misses Island's sensitive parts.
Kaiser misses with a wild combination.
Island throws a looping overhand right but Kaiser ducks down to avoid it.
Island's coach down at PhoQus Island Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Island's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kaiser throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kaiser throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kaiser moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kaiser scores with a jab to the jaw.
Island swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kaiser uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Island.
A head kick misses from Kaiser.
Despite the aggression on Island's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kaiser throws a combination. Island tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Island takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Island lands a hook that snaps the head of Kaiser backwards.

It looks like Mikkel Kaiser has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Island lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kaiser backwards.

Island drops Kaiser onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kaiser is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Kaiser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Island dips a shoulder and cracks Kaiser with a mighty uppercut! Kaiser falls back against the cage and Island unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kaiser is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Island screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

During a confident post fight interview, Test Island thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
