Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Moon (ranked 4266 p4p, 4441 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moon clinches.

Moon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Moon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zakrzewski dives in for a single leg takedown but Moon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zakrzewski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Zakrzewski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moon sprawls well. Moon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zakrzewski gets slowly back to his feet.

Moon decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Moon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zakrzewski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Moon postures up in Zakrzewski's guard and throws a big left but Zakrzewski blocks it.
Zakrzewski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Moon stays in close to Zakrzewski's body and controls the position.
Moon forces his way into half guard.

Zakrzewski is pressing down on Moon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Zakrzewski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Moon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moon closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut.

Moon shoots in and gets a takedown into Zakrzewski's guard.

Moon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zakrzewski's head.

Moon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Moon scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Zakrzewski to see if he's OK.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Moon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Zakrzewski has a takedown stuffed.
Moon lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Zakrzewski backs up against the cage.
Moon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Moon stuffs the takedown attempt from Zakrzewski. Zakrzewski gets slowly back to his feet.
Moon went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moon rushes Zakrzewski and presses him up against the cage.

Moon gets control of Zakrzewski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Zakrzewski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Moon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Zakrzewski keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Zakrzewski is trying to pull guard but Moon has him pressed against the cage.
Joe Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof Zakrzewski.
Moon is pressed up against the cage. Zakrzewski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moon down to the mat. Moon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Moon has managed to clinch.
Zakrzewski tries to land knees in the clinch but Moon avoids the damage to the body.
