Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granger Stoll (ranked 3424 p4p, 3821 weight class) and Hyu Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye of the tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoll throws out a loose jab but Head uses good head movement to avoid it.

Head dives in and scores a takedown into Stoll's guard.

Stoll has his feet on Head's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Stoll throws a lazy uppercut
and Head counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stoll throws a big shot that misses.
Head misses with a low kick.
Stoll scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Hyu Head has been cut.
Stoll connects with a looping right hand.
Stoll has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoll throws a hook to the side of Head's head but Head sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stoll darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stoll scores with a sloppy right hand. Head should have avoided that one.
Stoll lands with a shot to the body.
Stoll works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Stoll throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Head stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Head shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Stoll is adopting a defensive guard.

Head drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stoll manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Head has Stoll in his guard.

Head can't keep his opponent in guard - Stoll advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Stoll is trying to control. Head wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Head is trying to stand back up but Stoll is controlling him
Head is positioning himself well to prevent Stoll advancing to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Stoll controlling the pace.
Head tries to kick Stoll off in order to stand up. Stoll Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Head is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Stoll looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Head is being controlled here.
Head is looking to reverse the position.
Stoll is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Head is looking to reverse the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stoll smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Stoll tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Head manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Head has his takedown stuffed
and Stoll counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Head thinking.
Stoll jabs Head right on the nose. Head blinks but takes it well.

Stoll lands a big uppercut and Head crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Head looks OK. Stoll waves Head back to his feet!

Head is rocked!
Head misses with a jab, cross combination.
Head is still on wobbly legs! Can Stoll finish him?

Stoll rushes Head and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Head seems to have recovered his senses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stoll.

Stoll pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stoll throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Head colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Stoll as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Head is left battered and dazed whilst Stoll and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Granger Stoll!
