Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cathal O Doherty (ranked 2164 p4p, 2536 weight class) and Kuroda Atsushi (ranked 90 p4p, 102 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Atsushi cracks O Doherty with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
O Doherty checks a leg kick nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atsushi throws a low kick but it's checked well by O Doherty.
Atsushi feints and then cracks O Doherty's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Doherty down.

Good work by O Doherty as he checks the leg kick.
O Doherty looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Atsushi swings away with a leg kick that misses.
O Doherty fires out a quick counter leg kick but Atsushi just manages to avoid it.
Atsushi checks a leg kick.
Atsushi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A thudding body kick lands there by O Doherty!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Atsushi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by O Doherty.
Atsushi throws a solid leg kick but O Doherty takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Atsushi.
Atsushi takes a swing at O Doherty's ribcage but misses.
O Doherty half committed to a counter leg kick.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Atsushi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kuroda Atsushi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Atsushi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
